Dr. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei
Dr. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei is a world renowned orthopedic surgeon and the President and Founder of FOCOS. A native of Kumasi, Ghana, Dr. Boachie-Adjei emigrated to the United States in 1971 and completed undergraduate studies at Brooklyn College where he received a Bachelor of Science (summa cum laude) and a Doctor of Medicine Degree from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons. Through FOCOS, Dr. Boachie-Adjei seeks to improve the quality of life of patients in need throughout Africa and other parts of the world by providing optimum orthopedic care.
Leading with Vision
When Dr. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei saw that children were growing up with spinal deformities that prevented them from standing straight, or even breathing properly, he decided to do something about it.
