FOCOS partners with Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) and provides complex spine surgery to patients who otherwise would not be able to afford or access such sophisticated surgery. Tamesha Mayers is one of 70 patients to date who have undergone surgery with FOCOS Barbados.
Since 1998 FOCOS has worked with two associates within QEH; Dr Jerome Jones and Randy Carrington. Dr Jerome Jones was a former resident at the Hospital for Special Surgery and has relocated to his home State of Barbados to practice Orthopedic Surgery. Dr Randy Carrington completed a mini spine fellowship program with Dr Boachie in New York and now coordinates the Barbados FOCOS Spine program.
