Patient Stories - Sesay
Alimamy Sesay- When his father brought him to visit Africa Surgery, Inc. (ASI) in December 2008, nine-year-old Alimamy Sesay’s legs were already paralyzed and he was in a good deal of pain. ASI got Alimamy a wheel chair and started him on an eight month regimen of anti-tuberculosis medications which helped him to regain some use of his legs and reduced his pain. Sponsor Alimamy and help him fly from Sierra Leone to FOCOS Ghana, for life changing surgery that will remove the pressure from his spinal cord and ensure that he does not become paralyzed again.
