Patient Stories - Kadiatu Kanu
By age six, Kadiatu Kanu was paralyzed in her legs due to a tuberculosis infection which had weakened her spine causing it to fracture. Katiatu underwent a six-month treatment of anti-tuberculosis medications in 2008 and regained the full use of her legs. Unfortunately, even with the tuberculosis gone, Kadiatu’s spine has continued to collapse and she is now becoming paralyzed again. Sponsor Kadiatu today and help raise funds for surgery which will hopefully restore the use of her legs permanently.
